hey, mel? how did you get the cute 'wallpaper' for your blog? ps thanks for the organic chart a few posts back. when i was little, we'd get the burpee catalog-they have a selection of heirloom seeds (www.burpee.com). check out those lima beans, baby!
hello!! i was thinking about our romantic brooklyn date all those years ago. i think we had martini's in a little fish n chips place? sigh... what's happening in your life?
welcome readers, to the rebirth of backyard in brooklyn. i plan to continue to document the amazing growth of my garden, which this year is nearly double in size and includes more varieties of herbs and vegetables. additionally, i will focus on the profound presence of the natural world within city borders. while this is currently a hot subject for the media and public sentiment, i fear that we will soon have a huge green hangover and return to ignoring the possibility of connecting to the rhythm of the earth, which we cannot do lest we find ourselves homeless, without a grass bed on which to lay.
